Printed canvases are often very expensive, especially the large ones. I just Googled on "Cluny tapestry kit." Even so, $895 for a kit is rather too much.
You could try downloading a pitcture from Google pictures, blowing it up, and then charting it with some cross-stitch software.

you must haave found the same kit I did. I had to read it several times to make sure it wasn't a COMPLETED tapestry for that amount! I'm not sure if you saw the suggestion that bad deb provided, but I have communicated with her and it looks like that might be a go. if it works well, I may start on some Waterhouse pieces next!

No, no, no -- Red Lion is a small town outside of Harrisburg and York, PA. They were our football rivals in high school.

(In the spirit of causing a reflexive headache in Slite) He's been getting stiff more often as he gets older, though stretching seems to be more a cause than a solution.

Tonight he cooks chicken and mushroom risotto in one of the pieces of new cookware I bought him (nice of me to buy him stuff to cook me dinner with, hey?

). Then we'll have macadamia, & chocolate macaroons with custard (though I've convinced him to make the chocolate fondant puddings tomorrow night).
