if you can find them, you should definitely try some !!! they're sooo good. the ones in your grocery store won't be as good as the ones imported directly by a friend returning from guadeloupe but they're still worth getting. trust me.

i've not tried it, but honestly, save that for regular bananas. it would be a waste to hide the flavour of these ones. just eat them plain, they're better than candy. (plus they're tiny, only a couple of bites. best to savour them.)

I'll get some next time I shop. They always seem to have them in the produce section, but I'm always looking for a nice long banana.

I´ll have to look for them in the supermarket to see if I can find what they are called here.


When i arrived at work one of the workers of our farm found them while herding cattle and brought the bananas to us

i don't really have enough experience with them to know, but i'd say just before that : ripe, but not over ripe. the flavour is really delicate. but like catire says, they don't last long.

That sure is a lush looking farm. Oh, BTW, I saw your glorious leader on the news, they were sort of laughing at the way he was strutting around a film festival, Cannes, I think. I thought, "Oh sure, Catire can't get reliable electricity or spend his money outside of the country, but his glorious leader wants to be a movie star."

Hmm I didn´t know HE was at Cannes, probably seeing that Oliver Stone movie made about South America and the rise of leftist governments.

To be fair the electricity has been more reliable since i posted about in the rant, its more of a "once every couple of days" kind of thing instead of every 4-5 hours.

I've got a copy of that tapestry in my sitting-room and visit the original in Paris quite often.
Printed canvases are often very expensive, especially the large ones. I just Googled on "Cluny tapestry kit." Even so, $895 for a kit is rather too much.
You could try downloading a pitcture from Google pictures, blowing it up, and then charting it with some cross-stitch software.
