I have never been able to understand Excel. I bought a 64-bit Linux machine at husband's suggestion, but most available software is 32-bit, so I haven't been able to run FlashPlayer. I'd like to have a fast forward and rewind working when I run audio, so I just tried downloading stuff with my text window, but it said I didn't have the right password, and that I was a naughty girl, and that 'this incident will be reported'. Yesterday poor husband was drilling holes in the porcelain tile I installed in the bathroom, an all-day project, so he doesn't feel in the mood to give me tech support right now. |

Surely, doing that means that if it takes you more than day to put the plan together that way means you have to re-visit the plan again because you've then got one less day to do everything? Or does the first thing on the plan just take the hit and have to take one day less? Although, if the first thing on the plan is making the plan then that just becomes a nightmarish self-referential loop and you eventually disappear up your own fundament!

actually i told them i would give them the retro-planning tomorrow, so i'm still okay, no self-referential loops (yet). oh, and "dl" = "decilitre" (to me, anyway. slite, correct me if i'm wrong).

Actually, thinking about it, in the UK we use a mix of both - small amounts are done by tea and table spoons, larger amounts are done by weight.

or maybe slite only has a measuring glass with the liquid measures and he must use that for everything.

 - I tend not to get involved with planning schedules (they are silly things imho!). But people use MS Project for that sort of thing don't they? Gantt charts, pretty colours, scrollable panes - everything you need to give you the illusion you're actually accomplishing something.
