oh right, i see what you mean. i would do that in indesign, personally, unless the text is numbers. but i realise that's probably overkill for most people.

It rained a bit heavy last night, so spring/summer has definitely sprung/summed. It was probably only about an inch all up, but the new 2500l water tank was over half filled. It'll probably take only our first proper summer storm to have it overflow.
Today, it's fine and 25C. Very pleasant. Cheers, Marc |

I'm growing gills. ::frowny face with umbrella::
We planned to go with a rockhound group tomorrow to collect calcite, florite, and aragonite, but it has been raining for weeks, and flooding yesterday and today. I don't think I have enough testosterone in me to go sloshing through muddy and/or flooded fields, fighting off water moccasins and diptheria. I'd rather be ![]() |

Today is one of those perfect Colorado fall days! 70 degrees and just a few clouds to make the beautiful blue sky even moreso.
I understand that we'll be in the 50's on Monday though with rain and even possibility of snow in the foothills.....winter is on it's way! |

We are well on our way for breaking a record for number of days without rain here. We already have the longest stretch of days in September at 18. Three more days and we have the whole record.

I forot to describe my experience of the storms yesterday. I was driving home in gorgeous strong sunlight, with the sun hanging low enough to blaze through from beneath the cumulohurricanus clouds. I literally slammed into a wall of hailstones for about 15 seconds, then torrential rain. So there I was on the crowded rush hour freeway with my visor down because of the blinding sunlight, hoping hail didn't break the windshield, wipers on high speed, and lightning bolts from the aforementioned cumulohurricanus clouds. ALL AT THE SAME TIME! I thought they would be extracting my lifeless corpse from the massive pileup in the pouring down rain with my sunglasses on.
The same thing is supposed to happen about the same time today, but I have my doubts taht the weather forecasters can actually pull of a similar stunt to the one they showed us yesterday! |

From the BoM:
Sunshine Coast Forecast for Saturday Fine. Moderate NE to N'ly winds, fresh at times in the evening. Precis: Fine. Max 27 UV Alert: 8:20 am to 3:00 pm, UV Index predicted to reach 9 [Very High] Forecast for Sunday Fine. Moderate NW winds, tending N to NE'ly in the afternoon. A high fire danger. Precis: Fine. Min 15 Max 29 Monday Fine. Max 29 Tuesday Fine. Max 30 Nice and warm today, but the winter-dry hasn't broken yet (no rain, and not very humid) so we couldn't call it summer. We might take the dogs down to Sunshine Beach this afternoon for a run (well, a casual stroll). Then a spa this evening. We might go down to Main Beach tomorrow, though the warm currents haven't arrived yet (still only 20C). Cheers, Marc |
