Why would it be too late? Is never to late, I married at 38 for the first time

Oh, and just got back from an INCREDIBLY pointless meeting. Damn I hate meetings of the lets_all_pat_our_backs_and_tell_each_other_how_bri lliant_we_are kind. It's such a humongous waste of time! Defenitly need to take an ample supply of pens, rubber dans and paperclips to the next one! Then I'll be able to trebuchet their asses!

Dear Queensland Rail,

Today is the third time in as many weeks that I've been stuck somewhere due to delays on the western line. May I point out that 'rather peeved' is a very, very polite description of my current mood?

Hey, I always used those times to finish my book...

One thing I don't like about driving to work: if you're stuck in traffic, you still can't read a book...

(the next car will have an USB connection!)

The clue is the "in-law" part. Because if I married another man, the sanctity of marriage would be be blasted to hellfire, and chilli-coated locusts will rain from the skies to feast upon our lower colons via the shortest route available, our current "liberal" government, like our last "conservative" government, sees fit to protect the populace from this utterly unholy abomination. From both points of the political spectrum, you're damned if you do and...well, you're just damned.

So, two reasons for it never occurring:
  • the government won't ratify it "in law" in my lifetime
  • I've already watched both of my parents-in-law pass away

So, it'll never happen.

Cheers,
Marc

Retro planning? You do something, then outline a plan on how you were going to do it?

Everything goes well with Zany Carters. Especially world domination.

I love the smell of aethernol in the morning. You know, one time we were totally bombed, for 11ty days. When it was all over, we woke up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' unopened bottle. The smell, you know that zorange smell, the whole house. Smelled like [sniffing]...Vic Reeves and the Wonder Stuff.

Someday this world's gonna end... [falls over]"

Cheers,
Marc ("This is the end. My only friend, the end")

It's amazing how quick it is to get back in the MR-saddle and start making sense of your posts. They do tend to scream and claw all the way into the sense-labb, but once there, it's very quick work.

suddenly craving some "chokladbollar" which are bound to be delicious, based on the photo and description.

something like that. actually you start from the date you know the project has to be done by, and then count backwards, planning everything you need to do from now until that time. i'm still working on it, it's just infernal.
