Actually Vista and Win7 do support sym links.

But does Linux support symlinks on FAT32? That's the key issue, and I'm pretty sure the answer is "no", unfortunately.

Oh, you are right. FAT32 would be a problem. You need NTFS on Windows Vista/7 to use sym links.

Well if WIndows support it on FAT32 I am pretty sure that mtools support it in Linux.

That's just the thing, I don't think it does. If anyone has Vista with a FAT32 drive (USB drive maybe) they can try it. You have to use the mklink command.

With the Pocket Pro, are you able to first download the books, enter them into (onto?) your device, read the books, and then at a later date organize them into folders?

I would change Author to either World Name, or Editor, or even Publisher.

For example: Thieve's World series. The Author could be Robert Asprin (editor), Sanctuary (the City setting)...I would put Asprin.

That's not a situation that I've encountered thus far, but were I to do so, I'd just create a folder for the series. That's the nice thing about folders - you can be flexible.

I would probably have a sub-folder for series also. The important things is that you organize for using it yourself so you will easily remember the choice you made.
