Well, it probably took us 4 or 5 days, but the first couple of days I could still get at my computer, and we didn't really do that much on those two days. It was all far less stressful than we both thought it would be! There's still bits to do, but it's mostly done now! 21:45 here and I'll be in bed in about 30 minutes tops - I don't know how you do this!

That's exactly what I don't have! I can live easily in a mess and find my way through it. What worries me is that I'd rather be in a big mess than in a well-organized home with, let's say two or three things sticking out. Those two or three things not in their place make me go mad, but when everything is not in place I feel like it's "ok", since it "matches" the environment...

Habit?

(Actually, I don't either, and I should get back into the habit of going to bed at normal times...)

Organised <> tidy neccesarily But it does make tidying things up easier (I used to annoy my mum no end as a teen - things would build up in my room, there'd be a big scene about how I'm not going out til my room's tidy, and an hour later it would be and not just shoved in cupboards out of sight, either

I dunno - that makes sense (f'r example, second hand bookshops where everything is a jumble don't bother me. Mainstream new bookshops where a couple of books are out of place annoy me no end.)

Nighty night!

I'm off now, for real. I swear, I'm going to bed. To sleep. With Pengy.

Ok, maybe I'll sleep in a couple of hours, but at least I'll be horizontal.

Goodnight VCat, it seems we are on the same schedule. Except it's only 8:00pm here.

ty, Laz. I'm quite new to this limit (played midstakes almost 2 years, then managed to build bankroll for 10/20 NL and was lucky enough to make little "level up"). Hope I will no need to go down to lower limits

I finished Equal Rites (and loved it!) so I actually slept at 2 am instead of eleven! (WDE, did you read late also?) The red and puffy eyes I've got this morning are worth it!

Now trying to get an early start on week end cleaning since my boyfriend is coming to pick me up for beerfest, then we're going to steal time in my parents pool, then abuse their hospitability and stay for dinner, Then go for a game of tennis, then...I don't remember what, but we have all those little plans we want to cram into a long week end! (keeping in mind I also have a ton of stuff to read for school and pleasure)

To every person having labor day week end: enjoy!

Yo, Yvan! Are you getting all this?

Sheesh, to see these family affairs on the front page of MR every day is kinda bizarre. Hey, maybe we could include this as part of the MobileRead soap opera to replace Guiding Light, now that it's going off the air for the first time since Norman The Conquerer's time. (doggie scratches ear and paces while pondering the possibilities)

Oh, I got that but the joke is on them because the pool temperature is around 68F.

It could've been worse: someone at the TO meet-up suggested that my boyfriend joined MR also. The way I yelled NO! came across a little violent, but hey, you have to set boundaries somewhere!
