He must have had a really good air conditioner at his place, what with it being a hot and humid summer and all, and nobody noticing.

sparrow, you have my utmost sympathy for the wind chimes, not that i necessarily have anything against wind chimes specifically (none of my neighbors have any) but i do know all too well what it's like to have noisy neighbors and i know how it can drive you CRAZY. earplugs are my recommendation, they're not a perfect solution but they can help. alternately, noise-cancelling headphones with music you like, but sometimes all you want is quiet...

Gracious No! I would just freak out at finding a dead neighbor!! No no no, we are selling The Love Shack because it is just too danged big. The neighbor with lymphoma was always at home with his invalid wife and their live-in nurse. The Love Shack was blocking our view, and it took us a while to notice that the nurse's car wasn't there. A couple of phone calls later, we found out that he died and his wife was living with their son's family.

Ooooohhh. That's okay then. Much better now that that's all cleared up.
