I think I may be echoing Pev, when I say that I have so much to do that I don't know where to begin, so I'm here, catching up on jokes, posts and the news of the day. BTW, what's with the Desert Island theme? Some threads I don't even open, because well, I can barely keep up with the ones I've got! And with all the Sony news of late, I've been snowed under. Hmmm? Maybe I should take a look in there. Might warm me up a bit. Now, what was I supposed to be doing...? |

I'm off from school til next Wednesday, and only one class next session . Off work today, work tomorrow, then off til next Monday. Whatever will I do with myself? I was one of the winners in the blog comment contest at Kimberly Frost's site! I'm getting three signed books - Kimberly Frost's new one, Barely Bewitched (which was on my "to buy" list), Kerrelyn Spark's latest, and Kim Lenox's latest. Chris is talking about making me a special place to display them so they don't get "lost" in the bookcase. I'm also expecting the copy of Fed Up by Susan Conant and Jessica Conant-Park that Jess promised me. It's been a good month for me and winning books! | |

well, i seem to be having a lot of trouble stopping working tonight (which is ironic, since i had trouble getting started, earlier...) but it's 23:00 so really, i think enough is enough. now, what to have for dinner ? something requiring as little preparation as possible, i think. |

And the only reason we comment is that WE aren't in your immediate vicinity -- so we are missing out on all these goodies!

I just like baking sweets for some reason. The urge comes and goes, I can spend months without making anything but then for some reason I get the urge to make brownies or search for recipes online. Whenever I bake something I take some to work or leave it for the family and when I start they know how to keep me going (they buy chocolate and flour and stuff like that and just "happen" to leave it where I can find it when I get home ) Also I got too much free time on my hand since my girlfriend is out of the country and my semester doesn't start until the end of September. |

I just sat in the sun on Noosa Main Beach eating a satay-sauced beef burger and chips for lunch, and watching the non-swell and passersby. I washed the burger-mess off my hands in the sand and wavelets at the water's edge. Now I'm back home and trying to find online a light globe batten, an inline switch, and and coloured LED light globe for a lamp I'm putting together. Also, Catire....YUM! Cheers, Marc |
