I went with silver as well... looking at the readers in the store you can tell how time and use put lots of visible scratches on the readers... the best one that looked was the silver. The blue, red, and black all looked beat up...

For the PRS 505: Artemis was a good suggestion, mine is 'Baldur' - the "light" (or white) god, the wise and perfect one (too perfect even).
Cybook...? hmmm...I know the Nordic pantheon best - depends on what you think of the device.

I think I'm going to call her Diana (Latin-style, Dee-a-na, not like Lady Di). And maybe the Cybook will be something more sober like Admetus... which is connected with death mythology. Perfect!

(a ship without a name- or the wrong name- brings bad luck, and I think it could apply to more modern devices

Of course. The Latin name of Artemis. It's funny, but I was thinking of Odin (pronounced Othin) for the Cybook. The king of the gods, the wisest and most cunning of all. An imposing and awesome figure, the god of death and the lord of war. Perhaps not quite sober, but connected with death mythlogy as well. Do you think it is the black colour that makes think in those patterns?

Powerful black- I think yes! One of the oldest colours, in history of human culture. Seriously powerful, rather than sober, you're right.

are these m edge covers? they look like the sony ones. I love my m edge cover for my 505 but these ones don't look as nice even though they do have a light
