I just saw a side-by-side comparison of the PRS-600 and PRS-505, and it took a little wind out of my sails. I'm still anxious to hear what news comes from the press conference, but I'm sad that the PRS-600 is so similar to the PRS-700 in terms of screen quality.

Seeing the screen from the Touch edition muted my initial enthusiasm but the "Daily Edition" has replaced that interest if it comes out with a Kindle DX equivalent sized screen and a faster controller for pdf viewing.

I know the hardware will look generations better than that 1980s styling.

Come on Sony, don't disappoint with your high end. I know you are bleeding red all over your electronics division but don't let it spill to the e-ink division!

Especially with Amazon's latest "we'll delete your content wirelessly" fiasco, I might be a little less alone on this than before, but I'd really like to see wi-fi instead of cellular wireless.

The "Daily Edition" has piqued my interest. It is definitely larger than the other two and this could be the wifi device Sony spoke of, so the question is... is it touch screen or not?

It's the "Daily Edition" that has me curious, too. Could Sony have finally come up with a significant upgrade over the PRS-505?
