i always wash mine at night, just before going to bed, and never dry it either (drying it gives me an afro, not a good look for me). makes for entertaining mornings.

(yesterday, it was all standing almost straight up like a bunch of brown springs.

Once a day in the mornings. If I go to bed with damp hair it would stick everywhere the next morning, and thus I'd need another shower. Plus, a nice hot shower helps me wake up in the morning. I also take fairly long showers (15-20+ minutes). Sometimes my shower is the favorite part of my day (sad but true).

I also prefer showering ALONE!

I shower when I need it. Totally dependent on what I've been doing. If it's browsing about here, consuming coffee and chocolate donuts, not so much. If it's doing battle with weeds, automotive maintenance, or falling down a lot then quite often. If it is lolling about in bed reading all day and consuming chocolates not at all. It also depends on the temperature, hotter days more often, cold gloomy days less often.

And when I'm in a particularly bad mood I will go for awhile without a shower just to offend everyone.

During the week it's twice a day once in the morning to wake me up, although i've taken to swimming each morning now so just need to wash away the chlorine i'm already awake. Then once in the evening i work in the construction industry so can be pretty dirty although these days very very rarely, if i get dirty someone has messed up

it's just a habit that has stuck from when i actually did some work on the tools.

Well, when we all start stinking too much for the cats to tolerate, we jump in the back of the pickup and ride through the high falutin' car wash. It works OK, but the girls have to be quick during the hot wax cycle.

All this talk about hair.... I always shower in the morning primarily because my fine, blond hair are the very definition of very bad "morning hair" when I get up (especially if it's hot and I have been sweating). So I always wash it, and always, always blow dry my hair in the morning or else it looks dowdy. Unfortunately my hair won't grow long enough to gather in the back, so that's not an option for hiding a bad hair day.

My hair can really annoy me

Oh, and if have a heatwave (a Scandinavian one that is: +25 C), I might feel the need to wash a bit in the evening.

takes a day and a half for my hair to dry, so even if I shower every day my hair doesn't.

ohhhh and I like baths as well! unfortunately I tend to spend way too much time in them (I think there may be some dolphin in the family tree), a book (or the Kindle in a ziploc bag), a glass of wine, and I'm good until I run out of hot water!
