yes, but here at least the temperature usually goes down in the evening, so it makes it bearable. but not last night. i can't tell if we're going to get a storm or not, so far nothing. no rain, no lightning... but there does seem to be some wind (on top of the fan i have blowing) and the last time i checked the sky was full of dark grey clouds... but they definitely said it would be cooler tomorrow. as long as it gets a bit cooler tonight i think i'll be okay. it's hard to sleep when it's so hot.

now just explain to me why the giant hairy heat-emitting cat wants to snuggle in this weather ???? arg !!! don't sit on me !!

We had the same, plus biting cold during the showers, which were very odd and heavy. And the odd gust of wind.

Today was a very nice, sunny, warm day. Spent a couple of hours lying on the beach, reading. Tomorrow, we're expecting 31C. "Fine and dry. A hot day."

We're starting to get that first sense of summer - that reminder of how unrelenting it is, day & night, hot, humid, often from September through March. Ya gotta love it though (especially after the first season of it, when your body speaks in rivulets and the heat drives you mad as a cut snake).

Ah, winter, I hardly knew ye.

). I'm trying to get over it with a huge piece of plum cake now.

Some Australian scientist is claiming that you guys need six seasons, not four. (Four is a relic of your colonial days, apparently.)
