Just letting all you Mobilereaders know that my new science fiction novel Rogue Hunter is now available for MobiPocket. To be fair to those of you who weren't able to take advantage of the introductory price, I am offering everyone a chance to download Rogue Hunter for 99 cents. Mobipocket.com adds an extra 49 cents if under $4.00 so not quite 99 cents. Have you considered Smashwords? They have alot of formats and don't charge the extra fees.

As I only uploaded my book to Mobipocket a day ago, I wasn't aware that Mobipocket adds an additional 49 cents to the cost of books under 4 bucks. I am, however, planning to release Rogue Hunter on Smashwords. But I can't promise when it's going to be ready.

Thanks for letting me know about the situation with the Mobipocket store. If I ever decide to discount Rogue Hunter again, I'll keep this information in mind when setting a price.

I have a Sony Reader and don't format shift, so I am still unable to purchase.

I was just about to suggest the same thing as tselling. Smashwords offers the variety of formats (although, I think ePub is a format that can be used across a lot of devices).

We have quite a few authors on this site (many with publishers other than Amazon). Also, many members are very, very knowledgeable and experienced in ebook creation/format shifting.

Just ask and I'm sure many members would be more than willing to help or offer tips and techniques to make the conversion process easier for you.

So what about the people who do not use either format? Looks like you'll be losing a lot of sales by not having it in LRF & ePub.

I'm currently working on making Rogue Hunter available on Smashwords. As soon as it's available in the new formats, I'll make sure to have a similar introductory price for the readers who can't take advantage of this current sale. I'll keep you guys posted.

A quick update for everyone. I've gone ahead and lowered the price of Rogue Hunter to 1 cent for MobiPocket. So anyone interested in reading my book in that format should jump on this great deal while it's here. As for the rest of you guys, I'm putting the final touches on the smashwords version. I'll likely have your version ready to go by tomorrow. I'll let you guys know when everything's set to go. And don't worry. I'll be sure to have a super deal for you guys too.
