LOL! Gotcha!! I like them also, especially when fried in a teensy bit of olive oil in a skillet until they are nearly completely burned all over. Weird, I know, but yummy. They get sort of carmelized. | |

Excellent! I'll try it that way tonight. Thanks, DixieGal. See, even in a thread about food cravings, you can pick up a healthy hint or two.

And try putting some teriyaki sauce on them also. I ate a lot of them after breaking my face in 2007, because they were soft. Actually, the best to me are Morningstar Farms brand, have you tried them?

Nope, just the Boca brand (I think). I will try them next time, though.

It's about the same as yours, with the addition of caving in my upper jaw and breaking my eye socket bones. It was on vacation, of course. In Tarifa, Spain. Fell face-first down a flight of marble steps. Like VCat said, don't allow me out of the house without wrapping me in bubble wrap.

Yummy tofu-based "burgers" that come frozen in a box. They also come in flavors, like Santa Fe with corn and beans and salsa, stuff like that. But you can slap 'em on a bun with ketchup and mustard and just have them as burgers.

Cravings....oh my. Considering I had McDonald's for breakfast today (breakfast was at noon, the meal was a Quarter Pounder with cheese - courtesy of a friend who was bribing me to fix her computer for her) - my fast food cravings seem to have been well satisified. Which actually isn't that hard, as I'm not the biggest fast food fan in the world. Being a native Texan, my usual cravings go between steak and Tex-Mex, specifically enchiladas. For sweets, if it's got fruit in it (except blueberries, anyway) I'm there. Lunch part 2 today (or dinner for anyone not on a second shift schedule) I currently have NO CLUE about. |
