There was the coolest thing at the hotel we stayed in last weekend. For the "continental breakfast," they had this automatic waffle maker!!!! You got the batter out of a dispenser, then poured it into the griddle, then a timer counted down and beeped when it was ready. OMG!!! Where can I get one of those for my house???

yes, no bacon for me. sounds like pancake batter is like crêpe batter with less milk. easy to make, but it takes a while... not good for lunch on a work day !

Yes, but this was right there in the hotel lobby. No mixing, no cleanup, perfect for workday breakfasts. Although I do love me some Eggos!!

ah, i see, you want the magic hotel waffles, where all the work is done for you. those sound good to me too. (although i do lust for a gaufrier of my own... but really, it seems silly to buy a machine i would only use a few times a year but i would have to store it all the time...)
