Do remember what vendor you got your card from or a pic of the card? I bought a 32gb card but the Q7 doesn't seem to recognize it. Also, I would like to change my clock, but I don't know where I need to go to do this? Could you please help? Thanks, Ellen |

Using evilvte type "sudo dpkg-reconfigure tzdata" This will start an old 'DOS like' program. Select your Continent, then select your nearest City. Having done this your are now in the correct Time Zone. Now when you click on the time in the menu you can either set the time manually or use the sync button to get the time from the internet. p.s. you can change from 12Hr to 24Hr clock by typing "%R" or "%r" in evilvte |

Hi guys, does anyone else's charger get super hot (mine gets so hot that it stops charging, until I remove the charger to let it cool down before finishing the charge)? I've just got the charger going into a transformer, which is plugged into the mains supply...

They can sometimes get really hot if you start the charge from really dead. Was the unit really low when you start to charge the SmartQ7? It should not get that hot though. I usually find this is the problem if the transformer is being over taxed or the transformer is about to fail.

I've found this for the Mac wich, right now, is the one that seems working best for what I need. Also, is very simple to remove selected pages from the pdf, great for deleting full page ads from the magazines. Maybe this can be useful to someone else that's on Mac Still, Evince reader still quit by itself after a bit of magazine reading Quote:

I don't understand the second part of your post. Is it a statement or a question? ![]() |

Anyway, I have my own problem with the q7 clock. Mine is running really fast. Sometimes, it went as fast as half an hour for every hour. When the device was off or suspended, the clock was still off but not as bad as when on. I asked Alex of Eletroworld. They sent me this link: http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5105 New to linux, I didn't understand a bit. They offered to correct it if I sent it back; we pay half-half on delivery costs. However, I decided against sending my q7 back. The problem is annoying but not critical and I'm afraid that solving it may create another problem. And most of all, I just don't want to part with my Q7. Does anyone have solution to this run-away clock problem? Please advice. |
