I just want to add my little piece here, even though it looks like I might be alone now - has everyone gone to bed? Moejoe, I love your short stories and I sincerely hope you won't be giving up writing them. Not everyone likes vampire stories (ugh), gory murder mysteries (yuk) and unending series (the first few books in a series may be great, but I can't think of any authors who continue to deliver quality books using the same characters over and over and over... hohum). I've just downloaded your new offerings from Feedbooks (I love Feedbooks!) and am settling in for a reading session on a wintery Melbourne afternoon. Thank you for keeping us entertained |

Just caught up with this thread (after a heads up from Dreams). I've said before how much I enjoy / value your work Moejoe I look forward to each new 'release' and will be very disappointed if you are actually able to "quit the writing habit" I'm always late to the US time zone postings but I'm surprised at Moejoe & Madame Zelda if they are able to stay up all night (have them both located on GMT+2) I'm often awake during the night but I use that time to read and hope for sleep to return, sometimes it does sometimes not. It is very true that as you get older you need less sleep. I'(ow)l be looking out for more of your work - even if it makes me cross - eyed!! |

For Moejoe if as I remember he is in Scotland it would be BST (GMT+1) So I was wrong for Moejoe right for you, either way both your avatars were up disgustingly late - people will talk!! But as you were up so late I will forgive you. Central European Time (CET) Central European Standard Time = GMT+1 Central European Summer Time = GMT+2

you're right, currently it's GMT +2. but i think moejoe is in england, not scotland, though i could be wrong. as for the people who will talk, i think elvis costello said it best, but sadly i can't find the song on youtube to put the video here so you'll have to make do with these lyrics instead : Let them talk, let them talk, let them all talk Let them all talk, let them talk, let them all talk Let them all talk, let them talk, let them all talk Let them all talk, let them talk, let them all talk Oh yeah we're killing time Just to keep you clocking on These are the best years of your life Now they're here and gone --Elvis Costello, Let them all talk. (i'm glad you forgive us though. very magnanimous of you )

Moejoe, I read 'Not So Much A Season' yesterday. Another enjoyable read from you, as always. I hope you'll expand or continue this story. I really like your sci-fi offerings and I finished this book wishing it was a lot longer. I have 3 more of your books downloaded, ready to read Thank you! |

It's part of a collection, or at least, it might be, of short stories set on or involving the moon - On the Face of the Conquered Moon (another Joni Mitchell lyric ). I have about another six or seven done, just small stories about small things involving people away from home.

On the Face of the Conquered Moon. I hope you'll release it soon. I'm still thinking about 'I Burn Today', trying to understand how anyone could be redacted for writing and daydreaming... and Kurtz, even knowing what was about to happen to him, stayed optimistic. Thought-provoking. Kurtz... "his fingers itched to type, his brain swelled with words" Sounds like someone here at MR |
