I'm venting because the leader of a (very) right wing party in Denmark, who unfortunately secures the current government's majority, thinks that culture and art is something to be controlled by politicians.

Patricia, I had a plastic coated caddy that hung on the shower head for years and it has never rusted.

I may just try one again then, Lilac. The plastic coating on the last one split and then it rusted up. But it may just have been one of those things.

The chrome-plated ones never seem to last more than a few months.

Or maybe I'll weave my old modem cables into a hanging basket for the shower.

'sigh. Last week they found a "lesion" on my love's single remaining lung. (CTscan) Today, we had a needle biopsy. Results by Tuesday.

In spite of the well meaning "it could just be an infection" lecture, after three bouts of the big "C" we both are reeling and prepared for the worst.

But you know what I"m thankful for? The nurses and staff at the hospital we have had to deal with have been more than kind and supportive. Its like they have a second sense and know just how to respond to fear and anxiety. God Bless 'em.

So sorry to hear this, desertgrandma.

It's so stressful waiting for results. My thoughts and prayers are with you and yours for good news on Tuesday.

Thinking of you both, and hoping for the best on Tuesday.

I agree with dreams - the waiting is tough; but it's good to know the staff are so caring. It sounds like you're in good hands.

DG,

You are not alone in this. You have many friends who will love and support you. The written word is a wonderful way to aleviate fear and anxiety, and in today's world it is instant.

*Clock in* every day to MR and let us know how what is happening and how you are coping. Shout, cry and scream if you feel like it. Being *cool* is for cucumbers!

Sincerely.
