I was thinking that the chart needed two dots directly between the endpoints of the graph ..... it looked like a great big smiley to me.

Okay, so I agree that the last two would be bad, but let's have a little perspective here. I don't think Queen Z has done a single thing to earn our loyalty, apart from that one incident with the Omniswans last year that could well have been a fluke. And the PirateNinjaZombieSquirrels are a woefully unrepresented constituency who are, frankly, tired of all the prejudice being constantly leveled against them. I mean, yes, we call them creatures of pure and unrelenting evil... but let us not forget, a few hundred years ago we said the same of the Dutch. And it turned out to only be partially true.

Though the Pixel Qi technology may diminish much of eInk's current advantages, especially if they implement the related power saving features from the XO, in the long run features like flexibility and reflective color should help to keep it a competitive alternative.

Of course I also believe the shaved backs of squirrels to be a viable medium.

e-ink is here already, and Pixel Qi isn't. At least, I've not yet seen any device with that screen. So, let's keep those squirrels for now...

None yet. Though baring any unforeseen delays... yeah, as if that ever happens

... we could start to see netbooks with the 3Qi screens integrated by the end of the year. After that it seems inevitable that they'll find their way into PDAs, and potentially dedicated readers, eventually.

(You know it's too bad we don't have those Google ads any more... all these mentions of shaved squirrels might have yielded some interesting results.)

I recommend that you wax your squirrel instead. It's no better or quicker, but it provides me with a lot of entertainment filming your attempts.

Hmmm, would you recommend wax-strips or just dunk them in warm wax and throw them into a pile of tissue and try to get it all off afterwards?

I think the second option would have the highest entertainment value...
