Hi there. @onlinefiction on Twitter told me about this place and this thread. Thanks for sharing my work. If you're interested to download the whole thing as a single ebook, it's free at Smashwords. You can find it here: https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/2787

You can also find my novels at Smashwords and DriveThruStuff.com - although they're not free, you can get both for US$5 at DriveThru.

I thought it was a poetry book.

Turns out it's SF.

Hi Alan, I downloaded A 'Verse Full of Scum from Smashwords and read it over the past couple of days.

https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/2787

I love sci-fi stories and your down to earth, irreverent, cynical style of writing made for a very entertaining read. The book was pacy and left me wanting to read more, so I'll be heading back to Smashwords for your other books.

Edit: Just got back from Smashwords and Drivethru. Is 'Verse the only sci-fi book you've written?

I want to know more about Magickers, DEMs, DAP and Ghost's adventures as a bounty hunter, travelling the 'Verse in various ships.

Do you have other adventures in mind for Ghost? He's a great central character.

Thanks for sharing your book with us

Hi cbell. Thanks for the kind words - I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the story.

My two novels are contemporary dark fantasy. Very similar in style (obviously, given that I wrote them!) but considerably different in setting. I'm currently working on a third novel, similar in setting and style to the first two, but I do have plans for more Ghost adventures. A 'Verse Full Of Scum was the first and as I've had such good feedback from it I'm very keen to get on and write more. I have the second one planned - it's just a case of finding the time to write it!

Keep an eye on my website as I'll certainly keep readers up to date there with what's happening. The first Ghost book was serialised on my website before I released it as a single volume ebook and I have plans to do that again with subsequent Ghost yarns.
