Ugh.... I haven't even moved yet and already I need to change my address. All because the Post Office is closing their east side branch towards the end of this year.

It would be kind at best to describe what Dan Brown does as writing. To me it would be the same as calling what Britney Spears does music

Then again, what the hell do I know.

Some people (though I'm not one of them) like Britney Spears, too. I did think about that when posting, but couldn't think of a euphemism for writing that you'd find acceptable. Anyway, Moe, I'm sorry you're upset about it, and I'm sorry you think my taste is horrid, (unsaid but implied that anyone who likes those books' taste is horrid), but I *do* like Dan Brown's books, and I *have* been looking forward to this latest release. I'll be the first to tell you though, that I don't read as an intellectual pursuit, I read for enjoyment.

Well, no, Yvan, he doesn't *have* to admit anything. In my opinion, and your opinion, we find them entertaining, but Moe's as entitled to his opinion (which obviously differs) as we are.

I respect Moe's opinion, and Moe himself, too much to get into an argument over whose opinion is 'right' and whose is 'wrong' , in a discussion where there IS no 'right' or 'wrong'.

Reading tastes, like all other preferences, are highly subjective.

You know a lot, from what I've read of yours, Moejoe. But I have to say that as bad as [he who must not be named]'s last book was, I nevertheless enjoyed and was impressed by his ability to write a book where most every chapter was four pages long and yet ended with a cliff-hanger. It was like cotton candy, but it was impressive (to me). I don't read fiction like that ever and so don't know but I assume that's pretty uncommon and required something like talent to achieve. No?
