In case people haven't noticed, there is an attachment on post 11, which is a blank white jpeg image(dumb me, I should have chosen another color). This image gives you an almost real life size of the actual screen dimensions on which you can expect to read on the 505. |

Thanks for giving the resolution Pat, and I appreciate the effort, but may I point out a very small thing, without offending you.
The screen resolution does not always give you an actual idea of how well you can read on a screen. For example, my original PC had a 14 inch monitor, on which the best resolution was 800 X 600. Now I have a netbook which is having the same resolution but the screen is only 7 inch diagonal (I know its a bit crazy for a laptop, but the battery life is amazing, and gets basic movie, music, browsing done:-) ). But the readabilty is much less compared to the bigger screen on my old desktop. Everything looks cramped and smaller. So thats why I pointed out, with the same resolution, the screen sizes can be different, and even if the same exact content gets displayed, the SIZES would differ. Thats why I resorted to this rather dumb way of trying to post an exact screen replica here. BTW, I have not yet got a device. Hopefully within two weeks. And then I will join the ranks of thousands who reap the benefits of your hard and devoted work with the books posted here. Thanks Pat, in advance. Cheers Dave |
