But that's not white either. But I agree, it's one of the few Apple devices that looks decent.

I was originally talking about Apple and we morphed into white somehow. The iPhone and the iPod Shuffle are seriously sexy, IMHO.

It's probably not good that I used to do high tech design for a living. I get impressed by sexy designs, which has sold me on many a gadget I didn't need.

Just re-checked the sony uk site (an exercise in masochism, I know). The 505 is the only ereader mentioned. Where is the smiley for "smiting the corporate giant with the sledgehammer of 'I want it NOW!'"?
