I removed the gauze last night. Things seems to be healing just fine. Even after taking two hydrocodone, and feeling high as a kite, I still managed to win at Texas HoldEm.

I did get 20 hydrocodone, though, in case i need them. that, plus a bottle of extra strength tylenol and a tube of maximum strength anbesol gel should get me through it.

All the best - had my wizzies removed last year. Got some pain a few days later after the first two. Not knowing any better I thought it was normal; but I eventually went back,and it turned out I'd picked up an infection. It's quite common apparently, so I'd recommend going back asap if pain lasts or gets worse.

Don't forget - you can eat loads of ice cream.

I got some last night! I went to TCBY and got a cappuccino chiller. When I got back in the car I remembers.. DOH! I can't use a straw! So when we got back to my brother-in-laws, I poured it into a class and drank it as a smoothie

The only pain I have right now is the bruising where the needles went in. Those should go away here in a couple days. I'm currently eating a big bowl of Ramen! YUM

It's taken care of now. And when I changed out the original gauze, I did just that. Cut them in half. It was much easier to bear.

No need for gauze now though.
