Congratulations Patricia. As one who has made a few books every now and again, mostly back then, it is a major achievement. We have gone from fighting with BookDesigner to make it produce something readable on the Sony PRS-500 to the more modern tools. The production that once encompassed the majority of the time and effort is now almost a mechanical process as editing and cleaning the manuscript have taken center stage.

A special note should be in here for your efforts -- on many books -- to restore the sections that the censors deleted. Many of the Project Gutenberg versions were the censored versions that you so wonderfully restored.

If I wore a hat, I would take it off to you for you are truly the Queen of Books.

Thank you, everybody. You are all very kind.

At the moment, I'm concentrating more on converting material from the scans at The Internet Archive. This is a lot slower because some of those PDFs are rather poor quality.
Eventually, I'm hoping to replace all my PD paper books with electronic copies. But on the way, I frequently get distracted when I find something new. (Currently, I'm in the later stages of editing a new Anna Katharine Green mystery.)
