I just finished Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister. I hade a a really hard time getting into it. I kind of forced myself to finish it. Guess it just wasn't what I expected and therefore difficult to read for me. I am trying to decide between another Miss Marple mystery or The Time Traveler's Wife. I'm leaning more towards Miss Marple because I know I absolutely love those books.

EDIT: Scratch that, I just read a few pages in The Time Traveler's Wife, okay...I'm totally reading that!!! How can I read the intro and not read on???

I just read "Faefever" by Karen Marie Moning (damn cliffhanger!) and now I'm reading "Beauty and the Duke" by Melody Thomas.

I just finished "Knossos and the Prophets of Modernism," and read "the Spare Room" for dessert. Though very different works, they both deal with the repercussions of forcing facts to fit an agenda.

I'm also glowing because of a nice review that my book received.

I decided to start reading _Mistborn_ (Thanks Elsi) and I am liking it quite a bit. Don't know why it took so long since I got this for free to read it.

Émile Zola's Une Page D'Amour (A Love Episode). It is amazing how I can slip into a Zola novel and forget everything else ever existed.

Just finished Rachel Caine's "Undone" first in a new series for her. Very good, but wow, what a cliffhanger! In the middle of Maggie Sefton's third Knitting mystery at the moment, and it's VERY good.

On my "going to be read RIGHT NOW" list is Annette Blair's second Vintage Magic book, Larceny and Lace and Barbara Bretton's second Sugar Maple book, Laced with Magic.

Actually, I'm thinking that might be too exciting...

As it happens, I want to implement what I can of ITIL where I work, but the official material is written in a way that is really uninspiring, which makes it hard for me to keep my own enthusiasm going, let alone anyone elses!

Have just finished reading Gone Tomorrow book 13 in the Jack Reacher series by Lee Child.

I have to confess to being a fan of this series, but this is one of, if not the best so far.
I found it compulsive reading, the word pictures in three places are vividly graphic and gripping, a well constructed plot well executed. I avoid giving 5 star ratings but this one comes close at 4 1/2

Definitely a must read if you like this genre.

Plot:
Spoiler:
Jack Reacher encounters what he believes is a suicide bomber on the US metro. Confronting this leads to his arrest and involvement with all the US law enforcement and covert operations agencies trying to cover up something they wish to hide. Plus attention from an extremist group led by a beautiful girl who will stop at nothing to achieve their aims
