eReader VS. eBook Reader

I'm boring. I just call them readers. Of course, I don't think stand-alone readers are going to be with us that long. As screen and battery technology improves, we'll be able to have thin, light, readable tablets that last long enough on a charge to be useful for reading books and other content while also performing a variety of other tasks.

Someday when the technology is advanced enough, they'll control everything. Then we can call them Highly Advanced Liseuses.

accuracy is not boring...it's efficient...you are just being efficiently accurate.

BTW, i agree about the life span of the dedicated reading only device, at least in the larger format readers. I can see the 5" devices being less 'multi-porpoise' than the larger format devices. Still I suspect in a few years or less almost all devices sold will be far more multi-purpose. Especially if you consider the attraction of the new trend toward online applications like from Google as well as the move my MS of online versions of MS Office which are free to use. I think this is the market that mfg's who make use of the 3Qi display can begin exploiting now.

Just use the term eBook reader. When you say eBook Reader (note the capital R), you mean Sony Reader. So doing it as eBook reader (not the small r) would make it generic enough.

Technically it's not a reader. The user is the reader. Technically, its an electronic document display device or EDDD for short.
