Christy - Written by Catherine Marshall

Please make Christy into a ebook I've been looking for a ebook version of this for months. I would be so grateful if this ebook came out for sale. I'd be willing to donate money upfront for this project.

Sheri Tepper books - just a few of the titles
Pearl S. Buck -
William Faulkner
Shogun

I know I could dredge some more up if my brain worked better tonight. But, all in all, it's frustrating to not find a book available. There just seems to be a gap. I've found some on the darkside, but I want to buy them and some I just can't find period.

It's been a while since I looked, but I would like to see Jean M. Auel's Earth's Children series in ebook form. I can't find it. Most of the books have been out for about 20 years, but they remain enormously popular. They are always checked out from the library. I was about a third of the way through the 4th book "The Plains of Passage" when I had to return it to the library because I was moving to a different state. It's been checked out constantly at my new library. I'd love to get it as an ebook.

The late SF grandmaster SF artist Kelly Freas once recommended Shogun as a superb "first contact with an alien civilization" novel, and he made a good case for it.

Tai-Pan,(taking place in 1840's)(published 1966) Gai-Jin,(taking place in 1862)published in 1993, and Noble House (taking place in the 1960's )published in 1981 are books taking place in different eras, BUT all featuring the Struan and Brock families, and their Asian counterparts, and their fortunes.

Interesting that the books weren't published in order, that is he skipped back and forth between the 'saga'.......Now, excuse me, I have to go buy some books..........
Actually, Shogun was incorporated into the series by Gai-Jin. You will also find references to Shogun in Noble House.

Well, apart from Harry Potter and the bible, they are among the most-read books in the world So small wonder..

Anyway, no need for dutch books here. I like how Mulisch isn't available online, and I don't want to know, or learn, that I'm wrong in this
Apropos of nothing: Apparently these are what the public calls (or are being told by the book shops to be) "scientific" works. It's startling to see.

Anyway, I want lots of different translations of Notes from Underground available digitally.
At the moment, the only one I can find is the (1970s) Jesse Coulson translation, and it's still fairly expensive too, even though Penguin has recently dumped that one in favor of a new translation by Ronald Wilks.

There are other writers than Mulish! I was more thinking about the children book writers (of old...): Thea Beckman, Evert Hartman, Jan Terlouw, Annie M.G. Schmidt, Tonke Dragt, to mention a few...

Most Dutch literature I don't care about at all...

They've been mentioned already but I would love to see the first two Gormenghast novels. They're among the best written books I've ever read. Peake was a remarkable stylist. The third is quite odd and not up to the standard of the previous two and it's also obviously unfinished.

My wishlist would be very long if I wrote the titles, so I'll stick to authors. Enid Blyton books (Famous Five, St. Clare's, and Malory Towers), the six or so missing Jayne Ann Krentz books, Jayne Castle's older paranormal books, Amanda Quick's older books, Julie Garwood's historical books, Linda Howard's older books, Alistair MacNeill's books, Alistair MacClean's books and last but not least, Anne MacCaffrey's Rowan series (only "Tower and the Hive and the 3 prequels are an ebook).

That is am awesome book! I'd be up to contribute for a copy of that one.

I'm up for BeccaAnn's picks as well. I ditched most of mine when I went to an eReader. (' donated them to the library.) I would love to have them back, digitally of course, especially the Amanda Quicks.
