I'm back! Apparently, the only concern about hiring me is that I'm overqualified! Since they really really badly need someone quickly, I should be called back soon. I'll let you know how it turns out!

Oh, I did not grovel, and I wasn't proud either, I was just jittery and giggly, my usual when I'm stressed. Which apparently serves me right.

Excellent! I knew it! Actually, I really knew it - cuz I called the guy and told him that if he didn't hire you he was going to have a pack of mad dogs howling outside his window all night and digging up his lawn and such. I was pretty certain it was gonna work.
