Horrible screens... You have to sit in front of precisely so, otherwise you won't see a thing. I prefer anti-glare... (even though they say the colours aren't as fibrant, at least I won't see myself reflected in it)

I agree. But technically the two types of monitors are usually referred to as "glossy" and "matte". I'm thinking this was either a bad translation or freudian slip.

The problem is that Apple is multitouch obsessed. So a pen digitizer is out of the question.

Actually that makes me worry... with Microsoft now too embracing multitouch in Windows 7, will pressure sensitive [pen] tablet PCs go the way of the dodo? And with it my dreams of a digital sketch pad?

Well, I've an anti-glare foil over my LCD readers, not anti-glossy foil!


That GPS unit we bought recently also has a glossy screen. You couldn't see a thing if you had the sun in your face, or rather, you could see your face... Thank god for anti-glare foils!
