It was about not seeing the Micro SD card in ADE, only the internal memory. So far, no response. Not even confirmation about having received the email.

mgmueller, on yor photo the round lines of characters like O, D, B look rather edged, not smooth. Is this because of the font used? Hope so. |

I see what you mean about the page looking like a printed page that is running out of ink. With the glare , does this device show glare more than say the 505 or kindle2 ? You know how everybody came down on 700 for having glare problems, how does this device compare with the others in the glare dept. |

Glare in my opinion is identical to Sony 505 or Kindle 2. Definitely less than Sony 700. It's just the light conditions here in the hotel. Meaning: For ePUB, I think it's close to Sony 505. Not quite there yet, as long as I can't access my Micro SD card from within ADE. For PDF, it's one of the worst. I guess I'll delete all the PDFs and it will be my mobile ePUB unit.

 Commercial ePUB

Sorry for the glare. Lighting conditions in the hotel, not the unit itself. Opus again. Last edited by mgmueller; 08-05-2009 at 05:19 PM. |

The Opus looks jagged whereas the 505 looks a lot smoother. Is this really the case or is this just because the photo enlargens the screen of the Opus?

Hate to be a prick, but could you also take a screenshot of a pdf I quickly set up? Just the first Chapter from Pride and Prejudice...but I'd like to see how pdf shows up on it... I guesstimated the pdf size so it probably isn't ideal for the screen, but it'd be interesting to see anyway. |
