Moulin Rouge was a movie that I purchased the 2-disk special edition DVD without ever seeing it first. I just knew I'd like it. And I did.

My ex-gf, on the other hand, did the same thing with Dungeons & Dragons the Movie, and realized she wasted 20 bucks.

Just kidding. I actually liked the movie myself... It's almost as good as Shakespeare in Love.

you might can find the whole movie uploaded to youtube in sections, not sure. if not it's definitely worth a rental, if only for the fact that it's NOT a thinking movie.
