No. I one of those weak wimpy men that faints at the sight, or even thought, of blood...

Well, it's been my experience that there are a LOT of men out there who faint at the sight of blood.

My theory on this (formed in my twenties, and may be a load of hogwash) is that women are evolutionarily better equipped to deal with blood loss, psychologically and physically.

Now, bear with me here. Pretty much every woman, assuming they live to the age of fertility, will get a nice upfront view of their own blood every month. If you faint dead away every time that happens, you are going to have a problem.

Also, if women were likely to faint from even a small blood loss, then back when our ancestors were giving birth in fields while out gathering seeds and grains, they would have been lunch for the nearest predator. Better if you could pick the kid up and RUN!!

On the other hand, most men associate blood with an injury, especially their own blood. I found, more often than not, that it was these big athletic guys who would keel over before I barely got a cc of blood out of them. Their pupils would just dilate and then "nitey nite!!"

I don't know...I used to put sorority girls under the table by watching the blood come out when I was donating blood, back in college....

I just had my first calibre experience... I set up the NY Times to be fetched every morning! This is SO EXCITING!

Now, I'm watching the Little Couple on TLC... if you've never watched it, it is a cute show!

My work can't be done without frequent hand/finger lascerations. Laminates, melamine, splinters, cutting tools, they're all good candidates for inflicting cuts. At first you worry for your safety but you get used to it. And then your worry transfers from personal harm to not staining the furniture with that sticky dark stuff! Ya can't get it off properly without adding time to the fabrication...
