Looks like it's going to be a saturday morning...:sighs:

Expect me and hot lift with a LOT of coffee! It's a pity there's no time difference between Montréal and Toronto, at least we would have a headstart!

Oh, and Nick - coudn't you just drop the clingning baggage for a weekend?

I have to say I defected and switched my vote to Sat. Aug. 15th, 2009 at a later time perhaps 1:00pm to 2:00pm. This gives mid-August the upper hand, and the preferred/required one-month notice...

I'll keep you informed as to the final date & time....

It's just about set, as I already have discussed this with the other two members who chose Sat. Aug. 15th that 1:00pm (a later time) was better.

So the cat is out of the bag: Sat. Aug. 15th at 1:00pm at What a Bagel at the corner of Yonge St. and Eglinton Ave.

I'm about to prepare the "official" notice and then would need assistance of some friendly moderator

For me, the Sony (e-ink) Reader is incentive enough. I've got umpteen LCD/Backlit ebook reading devices, but not ONE e-ink device....

Alphasmart Dana (I don't read on it though)
Acer Netbook (Don't read on it, but could if I wanted to)
iPod Touch (read on it)
Sony Reader (read on it a LOT!)
Macbook (probably won't bring this, but I can if people want to see it)

It's official, the first Toronto Meet-up is now scheduled for Saturday, August 15th, 2009 at 1:00pm.

that's because she's shipping herself to the Montreal meetup in a duffel bag replete with padding (Extra clothes) her reader, which just might be a Sony 700, a flashlight, extra batteries, and a small protable generator.

Dang! Forgot food and beverages! Time to repack! And where is the toothbrush?
