I wondered if it was the size of the db that was causing this. Before i upgraded it was so bad on 0.5.14 that it was not possible to add books anymore, there were errors the whole time. Alas i forgot to save and report them because i thought that corrected in 0.6
It's much better, at least i can add books, but this evening alone i had several crashes.

Hmm as far as I know, the size of the library shouldn't affect adding (it may make it a little slower because of the check for duplicates but it shouldn't cause a crash).

@hippocrates: Both your problems are caused by the same regression in MOBI output in b14. Will be fixed in b15

Released b15. All those people having trouble with converting to MOBi should update. Fixes a bunch of other miscellaneous minor bugs

In the latest beta (0.6.0.b15), I tried converting a PRC file into ePub ; I specified a custom CSS, and it contained "@font-face" instructions along with "font-family" :

Just want to let you know that MOBI conversions failing with B14 are now running fine with B15. So that has definitely been resolved...;-)

@dpierron: calibre does not aim to preserve your CSS class definitions, instead it tries to simplify them as much as possible to improve rendering speed on the device, which is why font-family was moved. As long as the correct *content* still has the font-family rule, it's not a bug.

As for font-face, yeah that's a bug, but it will probably only be fixed when I add support for font embedding to calibre, until then font-face is rather meaningless.
