I actually badly want 1984 now that Amazon and the publisher have decided to take it away lol.

I believe that we have 1884 in the upload section.
the ebook search is not always so good with numbers, so it may well work best if you search for Orwell.

But remember that "1984" (which I guess you meant?) is under copyright protection in the US, and the US copyright holder has chosen not to produce an eBook version of it thus far. There is, therefore, no "legal" US eBook of it which can be bought or downloaded by people in the US.

The correct title of the book is "Nineteen Eighty Four" (in words). You'll find it in the book uploads section under that title.

Really? Because when I bought my Sony 500 one of the "sample" ebooks on it was 1984. Matter of fact, I still have the book in my elibrary.

Did Sony violate copyright?

Well, by popular request, I've now converted and uploaded Dorothy L Sayers' "The Nine Tailors".
