Then again I can see a 1-panel cartoon of the same scene. In this one a husband is standing anxiously nearby. However, instead of worrying about mommy or the baby he is staring at the reader and declaring: "be careful honey, you know how easy the screens on those things break."

We're hoping to show Robert that the interest is still here. I'm wondering how many we can get to "stand up and be counted". Can we get a ..... 14?

 New EZ-Reader Website

I went to the old Astak Web site and saw that they had added a download section for the EZ-Reader, however the two firmware files listed were greyed out. I wanted a backup of the firmware so I created an account hoping that I would then be able to download the firmware - but no good. So I emailed tech support yesterday asking why I could not download the firmware, Well I must say Robertb does not exaggerate when he says they provide the best customer service - I received a reply within a couple of hours. Well folks they have a NEW SITE - See their response below - Hi, We have been working on a new website for the EZ Reader, so now you can download firmware from the brand new site here: http://www.theezreader.com/index.asp Just click on "Support", then choose "Firmware download" from the drop-down menu. Best regards, Astak Inc. / Team Research Inc. 1911 Hartog Drive San Jose, CA 95131 I tried to order the Pocket Pro before griffonwing gets all the slate blue, but so far you can only buy the EZ-Reader. Take a look - they have a 360 of the Pocket Pro |

That is still the January firmware. Looks like the new firmware that has been promised is still cooking. Chuck |

So, anybody find the proclamations of a 'new lifestyle' on that new website annoying? I don't want a "brand new lifestyle" I just want to live my current lifestyle more efficiently and with perhaps a bit less clutter. Me, I think anyone looking to buy one of these things to get an all new lifestyle is bound for disappointment. What does that even mean nowadays? |
