No, I'm fine with entertainment. I like films that either scare the bejezzus out of me or fill me with joy. Sometimes I like a movie that makes me think or stretches my imagination. But movies that show torture or cruelty to animals .... just not my thing.

Oh, I loved that movie. That's the one where they find out they weren't actually married, right?

That is a bit different from the Philadelphia Story in that the couple were actually formally divorced, but I see the similarities.

That was a recent rental of mine from NetFlix (The Awful Truth, I mean).

Oh heavens no!! Sorry to even imply such a thing. As for the last one posted, I'm guessing it has something to do with a girl in a bathtub or shower?? I know it's not Psycho, the best known shower scene in cinema history.

Yes, well they think they weren't married when they really are. Something about all the marriages from a certain place being invalid or something.

It has been a few months since I saw it, and there was an 18 wheel truck in the middle there.

hm, 18 wheel truck notwithstanding, you're thinking of a different movie. let me know when you figure out which one, because if it reminds you of the awful truth, i'll want to see it. and you should definitely watch the awful truth again. i can't count how many times i've seen it and it still makes me fall off my chair laughing. plus, have i mentioned it has cary grant in it ?
