Comfort is impressive.
Diesel engine, below 6.5l/100km (above 45MPG)
It was a great loss for us Americans when Citroen decide they didn't want to play the US emission controls and safety standards games (read trade embargo without the negative connotations of that name), and stopped exporting them to us.

I recall having seen a couple of Citroens while at University (early sixties) and was impressed by them. I have to admit, they were VERY ugly though!

I have a black '08 Dodge Charger R/T. I love my car.

Gas mileage isn't great, but it isn't much worse than the Ford Windstar I used to have before my wife hit a deer in it.

NCIS car, right? They're not sold here as far as I know (though there's one locally - not an R/T though, but a lower-end model - that's possibly a grey import), but I've always liked them on NCIS (one of my favourite shows on the telly).

with so many environmentally responsible people replying to this thread, where are the Hummer and Ferrari people? Hiding their heads in shame? We have a 2007 BMW X5 and a 1997 BMW 735. Our Toyota Zace van just got stolen.

A lot of cop shows use Chargers now because it has become such a popular police car in real life. In fact, I've seen police packages (lights and stuff) available for them on a couple different websites.

It's a very fun car to drive.

My other car is a black 1973 Dodge "Gold Duster" (with gold snakeskin top) with only about 42,000 miles on it that I inherited from my grandmother.

Obviously our tastes differ. I once made the mistake of buying an automatic (a BMW) and absolutely hated it. To me, automatic transmissions take all the fun out of driving.

I've never driven an automatic, but I think I'd agree with you there. Though, if you live in a town and mainly drive in towns, it might be handy. But then, if that's the case, you're better off with a bike anyway...

Our cars can be used as manual (without the clutch, of course) and automatic. I drive a lot of mountain roads with one of them and always use the manual setting then. But for stop-and-go driving in the city leaving the automatic transmission to do the work is better. And believe me, in the summer at 36 degrees C (about 95 F) , 90%+ humidity, and the sun burning down on you --- you don't want to be caught dead on a bike. And if you are lucky you will pass out from inhaling the exhaust fumes of the cars around you. Bikes are great for the other 3 seasons, though.

In fact, it's getting more difficult to find a higher end car with manual transmission. They all come now with that switchable manual/auto thing that doesn't have a clutch. I really very much preferred the regular old manual 5-speed stick.
