Yeah, you're right. You don't need an invite if you're in the UK

Makes a change, we usually get things last or not at all (like Hulu).

I've been listening to a lot of Baden Powell (arguably the grandfather of Samba) so I just did a search for him, and then one for samba and cherrypicked from there. I'll send you a playlist in PM

i would like to take one, it is now by invite only here in uk now, and i have a friend who has been waiting on an invite from spotify.
i have playlists for all my favourite groups,and when i get a wireless modem i will be able connect my tablet pc so i can play music anywhere in the house or even in the garden..............

ah yes, baden powell.

he is brilliant. i'll be glad to have your playlist but only if it's not too much trouble ; i'm not sure how it works but i had the impression one of the spotify features was to recommend music to others so i thought there would be a built-in "recommend playlist" feature, or something. i don't want to trouble you !

Yes, if you right click a playlist or track you'll have 2 links one is a spotify url the other a more standard http listing. There's also an attached/third party service called Sharemyplaylist http://www.sharemyplaylists.com/, which looks fun, but I haven't had chance to check it out yet.

Hmm I wouldn't want to waste an invite so may I ask a question. I am not a particularly avid music listener and tend to find I listen to less current music. Does Spotify mainly cater for the modern/current taste or does have stuff like Burhan Öçal and Suren Asaduryan?

Should be at the top of the player:

if not, go to help > your account and it'll take you to a page with your signup details and a invitations section on that page
