Chris Anderson's new book (the subject of some discussion here on MobileRead) Free is going to be free in a variety of digital formats - Audiobook, Podcast, Kindle, Google Books, etc. And for now you can view it on Scribd (if you'd care to bother with that)

I just read through the first chapter on Scribd -- the interface just isn't very good for sustained reading and it may indeed be an interesting book.

It's a non-fiction book discussing whether the future of media (books, movies, music) will be 'free' and what reasons there are for that as well as possible fallout.

There's a long debate here about it, Malcom Gladwell has written about it, and so have most other major media outlets.
