I would call it an overstatement, considering that nobody has ever deleted anything with that button. Perhaps more precise would be the term non-delete button.

I would like a box that display when a press this button with the message "Do you want to delete this thing ?" with two button 'Yes' and 'No' and if I press "Yes" another box will say to me "Jocking!"

Cute, the button itself was deleted? At least from the software, they just forgot to also delete it from the hardware and from the manual.

All,

I have a very early Gen 3. It's mostly been sitting, gathering dust, because of firmware inadequacies. I decided to use it as a Calibre mobi bookbuilding testbed. The two books I built both hang up the Cybook. (They work on OnpenInkPot on my BeBook.) So, I think that I need to update the firmware. What is the best firmware level to upgrade to? I'm doing mobi so it can be shipped to the Swindle....

Oh yes, the source I used for calibre is HTML...

Even the latest version have problem with buggy html code. Mor than one body and unbalanced tables for example crashes the Cybook. So are you sure the html is correct?

Excuse me, I incorrectly explained. I used HTML source as feed into Calibre, with MOBI being the output. The resulting mobi hangs the CyBook....

Yes, and that will happen if the HTML code is incorrect.

I have recently used Calibre to convert HTML code and gotten the same problem. I had to repair the HTML code to get it to work.

Thank you. I'm not a HTML heavy. What should I look for? More than one body, and unbalanced tables. Ummm, what are tables in this context?

Maybe run the html file through a validator?

I sincerely hope that we will get some news today from that "meeting" with the Bookeen people in Paris.

We are anxiously waiting for what is in that "new" firmware!!
