Kurtosis sounds like what she's caught from her neighbors. (Yes, I know what it really means, but it has always sounded like some bizarre disease to me.) I'd be happy to undertake a multivariate analysis if that would be helpful. Or, under the circumstances, perhaps the development of a Rasch model would be appropriate.

DG, I recommend two ounces of 85% cocoa organic fair trade chocolate every two hours, alternating with hot lemon-gingerroot-honey infusion (or peppermint with honey, if you prefer). Avoid dairy. Find a good book and snuggle into bed with a cat or two until you feel better.

I love the pic of the Psummit! All those psockpuppets just chattering and rubbing against each other in the crowd, random discharges of static electricity, the vendor rooms with snazzy new promotional safety pins, free samples of fabric softener sheets for the dryer, symposiums on darning oneself up the corporate ladder, the open-bar meet and greet room (pictured above), drunken skinny dipping in the lobby fountain and waking up next to a mate to another pair of socks, the "gala" at the end of the psummit, etc.
