Don't blame the parrot!!

I am hearing on other threads that the parrot is innocent and that we should fry Griffonwing with a little butter, lemon, and coconut.

I taste good with a little coconut. I'm already rum-flavored. I'm like a walking Pina Colada.

 Mobiebook.com is being overhauled
 Quote:
OH. I did find out from Fictionwise that our site will be PayPal!! The only reason they ever ask for the CC number is that all DRM books (which are coming soon) require an ID number. Mobi and ADE assign a PID (Personal Identification) number. Fictionwise uses the CC number ONLY for the PID and not for purchasing. Once the number is assigned, the CC number is gone for good unused. So, those who wondered about why they cannot use PayPal... they can use PayPal. I hope this explains away any confusion! Mobiebook.com will remain our other domain and will be used for other things like firmware upgrades. It will become used by our technical people to help keep your EZ Reader and Mentor devices running with the latest!!

Dear All: The rebate will now be in effect on July 3 thru 5 at FRY's Electronics. This is a $30 rebate and FRY's is promising the lowest price ever on the Astak EZ Reader 6 inch. Frankly I think they and we are both crazy to sell a fabulous device that has proven itself at such low prices; and likely it will never be anywhere near this low again. So... if you are in the market for a new 6 inch eBook Reader NOW is the time. You WILL be able to download onto it the Adobe Digital Editions from a very soon firmware upgrade. The device is E-Ink, displays twenty languages and handles 14 formats. It has stereo MP3 with an EQUALIZER. It displays horizontally and vertically. It has three major font increases and we give you easy steps to load additional fonts onto it from our FAQ sheet. It has USA tech support and USA full warranty. The device is known at FRY's Electronics as rock-solid, the lowest returns of any eBook Reader. This is a BUNDLE Pack and includes free 2GB SD card, card reader-writer, 200 free pre-loaded classics, and comes WITH a crush-resistent leather case, USB cable, AC charger, wrist leash, ear buds, and even a screwdriver for the easily replaceable and rechargeable battery. |

 Advertising thoughts

I had a couple of ideas for advertising... First, a small brochure that can be left in places like libraries, bookstores, fast food joints, etc, wherever people might stop and read a book. Then I thought, why not a BOOKMARK. With the advertising on it. Leave in same places, but in a holder like other bookmarks. I'll always pickup a free bookmark and read it. Also, those of us who wish, could have several and as we see someone reading a physical book, just hand it to them as a kind gesture. "Would you like a bookmark." This might open up a conversation, even if we didn't have our EZ Reader handy. I would love to get a handful of brochures and bookmarks either just mailed to me, or included with my purchase of the Pocket Pro. I'd be happy to hand them out whever I see someone reading. AJ PS don't forget your business card also, that would be good to give out when we get into conversations. But the bookmark would be great. Last edited by AJ Starr; 06-30-2009 at 12:49 PM. |

Do not worry. Astak is controlling all the slate blue Pocket PROs and Mr. Griffonwing will get ONE when he buys it. His parrot already has a slate blue prototype that he keeps well hidden.
