The new site (www.goEZebook.com) is very close. The changes recommended by MobileRead Forum members last week are now being implemented. Major items like a change to the flash, control over the speed of the flash, home page buttons, and a lot more are all being done.

OH. I did find out from Fictionwise that our site will be PayPal!! The only reason they ever ask for the CC number is that all DRM books (which are coming soon) require an ID number. Mobi and ADE assign a PID (Personal Identification) number. Fictionwise uses the CC number ONLY for the PID and not for purchasing. Once the number is assigned, the CC number is gone for good unused. So, those who wondered about why they cannot use PayPal... they can use PayPal. I hope this explains away any confusion!

Mobiebook.com will remain our other domain and will be used for other things like firmware upgrades. It will become used by our technical people to help keep your EZ Reader and Mentor devices running with the latest!!

I had a couple of ideas for advertising...

First, a small brochure that can be left in places like libraries, bookstores, fast food joints, etc, wherever people might stop and read a book.

Then I thought, why not a BOOKMARK. With the advertising on it. Leave in same places, but in a holder like other bookmarks. I'll always pickup a free bookmark and read it. Also, those of us who wish, could have several and as we see someone reading a physical book, just hand it to them as a kind gesture. "Would you like a bookmark." This might open up a conversation, even if we didn't have our EZ Reader handy.

I would love to get a handful of brochures and bookmarks either just mailed to me, or included with my purchase of the Pocket Pro. I'd be happy to hand them out whever I see someone reading.

Seriously, if we sell 500 Slate Blue in three months I would be ecstatic and paint myself slate blue with happiness. I know that about 30-40 people so far have expressed a desire for Slate Blue Pocket PROs but that still leaves a hell of a lot!

I would be SO happy to sell a total of 200 (all the colors combined) in the first month. We are praying that enough MobileRead Forum people will buy, love it, and tell others they know about it. Yes, I am praying to God that we do some advertising this time. I have got to get the word out. The product is an incredible bargain but if nobody knows I have hell to pay.

All the excitement is wonderful... but soon I have to move them.

If he pirates all the slate blue, then we leave him with that color and buy other colors. That'll teach the piratical so & so.

besides, the slate blue colour is for ALL the people... just so long as I am the first one to get one.

Any worthwhile pirate would have a treasure chest of gold pieces of eight. Obviously, Griffonwing has found Arkansas to be a bit lacking in buried treasure.

Do not worry. Astak is controlling all the slate blue Pocket PROs and Mr. Griffonwing will get ONE when he buys it. His parrot already has a slate blue prototype that he keeps well hidden.
