So, basically, it might be here next week -- or it could take months. That's incredibly annoying. I'd love to buy an Opus right now. But if it takes another few weeks, i might examine some other options. I've been checking Dutch retailer sites since may... and my patience is wearing thin.

Bookeen's blog and website are utterly useless. Does anyone know of any Bookeen employees, who might be able to give us a more solid timeframe?

*sigh* I was afraid of that. Since May, they listed a June release estimate. last weekend, it got bumped to a July estimate. Basically, these guys don't know ****.

What's troubling me is that there is *very* little info to be found on the Opus. We've seen those presentation slides and the odd press release, but nothing too solid. I fear the release might be a loooong time coming.

I'll drop Bookeen a line. I have a somewhat professional interest in the Opus as well. Will let you know when - if - I get a reply.

I know, they're a Dutch reseller. (In case you're talking to me ) There's very little info to be had there and elsewhere. Most resellers don't even list a june/july date. I'm also keeping track of PDAshop.nl and sites like Pixmania. No joy so far.

I just dropped Contact at bookeen a line. Perhaps they can clear this up.

Comme vous le savez tous, Bookeen est sur le point de sortir son nouveau Reader : le Cybook Opus. Nous avons décidé de le présenter en avant-première à la communauté MobileRead durant cette rencontre parisienne. Il y aura des démonstrations avec la possibilité pour chacun de le tester et de le manipuler. Des gens de Bookeen seront bien sûr là pour répondre à vos questions.
