There seems to be a recursion in the latest beta8. I'm noticing that the command line tool is merging additional several fields fields like the "Book-Producer" to the "Author" tag. The result is something like this
Athtour="Unknown & Plato & BookCreator". I don't know what field the "Unknown" is coming from. The "Book-Producer" == "BookCreator" Edit: This problem happens on the meta data for these test formats EPUB, LIT, MOBI, PDB, PDF. See my next post for the command line switches =X= Last edited by =X=; 06-25-2009 at 11:36 AM. Reason: Added more info |

Can you tell us when you will release the next beta?
Could you fix the convert ".cbz" to "Kindle DX"-problem (blank pages)? Thank you in advance! Jens |

I'm using 0.6.0b8. Please, tell me how turn OFF TOC creation completely??? Tried any thinkable option and that didn't work. I set number of TOC links to 0 and they are created anyway. I convert from fb2 to epub.

Okay found the PDB problem
Hi user_none,
I finally idientifed what the PDB problem I have been seeing since version b3. It's due to the TOC creating. If a HTML file has no TOC or just one level of TOC the PDB file is created just fine. However if there is a second level TOC the PDB is not created the converter errors out. I've attached the zip file with the HTML and command line options. =X= |

@=X=, I've opened a ticket for it. It's an issue with the transforming to oeb stage before the output generation. Kovid will have to look into it.
@Garachico, The next beta will be out when it's ready. As for the DX mobi comic bug, a fix has been committed but I can't guarantee it will work. @Garfunkel, --no-chapters-in-toc and --max-toc-links=0 should turn it off. |

I still get a blank page after each image page when doing CBZ -> MOBI, and a chapter for each page and table of contents are created even when I set "Number of links to add to Table of Contents" to 0.
I submitted tickets for these, but I may have accidentally submitted the tickets twice, since in "View Tickets" I was filtering my username as "owner" not "reporter", so didn't see the ones I'd already put in - my bad! |

OK, I've tried unchecking the "Do not add detected chapters to the TOC" option, and setting "Number of links to add to Table of Contents" to 0. I also changed "Chapter Threshold" to 1 then to 99, nothing helped in any combination. Please, help! Last edited by Garfunkel; 06-26-2009 at 01:33 AM. |
