Another happy new owner of the SILVER PRS-505 here. I got the device from the Borders sale. I was actually sick on that day but I went and pick it up anyway LOL. I had been wanting one for so long, a fever wouldn't keep it away from me ^^. Anyway, been enjoying it tremendously. Yesterday on the train back home, 2 people actually asked me about the device. To make things funnier, the second guy was reading the exact same book that I was reading, Outliers. Strange coincidence instead ^^

I bought the silver PRS-505 as well. I am very glad, I did as I was not aware of all the benefits the silver version provides. Just to think that I could have mistakenly gotten a red one, gives me chills. Don't even let me star about the blue...

Well, the silver devices are just prototypes...they are lacking real color. But Sony is clever and charges customers the same price for all devices and from time to time a customer doesn't realize it and buys one of the silver prototypes.
