once upon a time i always thought i would never want to leave my job - but it only took me 25 years to become disillusioned .... more by the politics, lack of recognition and unnecessary changes the main turning points ....

I have plenty of ideas, but first it would involve several acres (and an abode) with the ability to ski right onto a ski run. having room for a couple of draft horses in the back to pull a sleigh would be perfect as well!

I wouldn't quit working, or learning, but I would like to job hop! I get antsy. I've always thought there were too many jobs and too little time... I'd like to get frequent vacation time though.

I shouldn't have been so serious-- Maybe that's a Monday-morning issue -I've made some headway on my weekly quota of coffee. Now that I'm feeling better and more wide-awake - perhaps I can revise my response to include: buy my way onto my (private) school's managing board, and seriously kick a--! |

I've always dreamed of being presented with one of those giant checks like in the Publisher's Clearinghouse commercials. Snap snap a few photos. Carry Tim and the giant check onto the airplane, and never come home. So many places to visit, so little time. |

Stop working. Start writing. Move somewhere that they have no idea what a plow attachment is for.

Some of it would have to go into a small place near the sea, a boat or two (either one that can do in & offshore, or one for each), possibly a beach hut on Mudeford Sands (although I really have no idea how well the yeti would get on in one of them - not sure the ones we've ogled over have the head room for him!). Then getting our garden done as we want, with a workshop and summer house in, an extension, enlarging the kitchen and replacing some of the furniture. And hiring a large skip in which to dump the accumulated stuff we have which just seems to multiply in between trips to the recycling centre... possibly get a new car, or just get the doors fixed on ours... new computers for the nieces... new cars for varying relatives... and so on...
