hi all, i have a small question.
After upgrading to v3, the virtual keyboard was different. it was a small keyboard, located on the top-left corner, pretty useful for typing texts while still seeing the screen. i don't know what i did but now i m back with the old virtual keyboard, taking 1/3 of the screen and located in the bottom... any idea how to have the small keyboard again? thanks! |

I posted this in another thread, but I think this might be the place that people look for it. If you're using the 3.0 version of the OS, smplayer is in Chinese.(Well, mine was in Chinese):
Open /home/user/.config/smplayer/smplayer.ini with leafpad. Change language=zh_CN to language=en_US or whatever version of English you prefer. It's about 3/4 of the way down, under the [gui] section. Restart smplayer if it's running. Voila, as the French say: Anglais! m a r |

Hey,
So I finally created an unofficial SmartQ board so the growing community can gather in one place. I'm not trying to make people leave from here; I think it is great to have multiple sources of information. Beside, any information originally posted here and reported on my board will mention its origin. Enjoy ! www.smartqmid.com Last edited by DannyBiker; 06-14-2009 at 02:50 PM. |

I had this problem, Gibbo. Try to download the firmware image directly from the SmartQ devices page. I tried from the links provided here and had issues. After I downloaded the image from SmartQ it worked perfectly.

I've done a research in the past days on the issue that the softwares from all firmware versions (including 3.0) are outdated. This has resulted on a detailed question on the Launchpad Answers: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/74252
Cross your fingers. When I get a reply I will post a note on this forum topic. |
